摘要：An apparatus for diverting a stream of articles (50) includes a first conveyor (28)driven in a first direction (34) and at a first speed, and a second conveyor (30) is driven in asecond direction (36) generally opposite of the first direction (34) and at a second speedaround an axle (69). A diverter element (44) extends at least partially across the first andsecond conveyors (28, 30) to divert articles (50) conveyed on the first conveyor (28) ontothe second conveyor (30). A differential drive mechanism is operatively interconnectedwith and driven by axles (69), the differential drive mechanism (66) being located exteriorto the first and second conveyors (28, 30).
